The Little Schoolhouse offers part-time classes for 2s, 3s, 4s, and Young 5s in the countryside of Southern Pines.

Hours: Preschool hours are from 8:30 - 11:30. Pre K / Young 5's hours are 8:30-12.

Location: 600 Valley View, Southern Pines, NC.

Cost: (by age)

  • 2 years: Classes meet two days per week (M/W or T/Th)

    • Tuition - $2,200 due August or $220 per month Aug-May

  • 3 years: Classes meet Monday - Thursday

    • Tuition - $2,650 due August or $265 per month Aug-May

  • 4 years: Classes meet Monday-Thursday

    • Tuition - $2, 650 due August or $265 per month Aug-May

  • Pre K / Young 5’s: Classes meet Monday - Thursday

    • Tuition - $3,000 due August or $300 per month Aug-May

My thoughts:

I have heard nothing but good things about this school — nearly everyone I’ve met recommends it. The Little Schoolhouse is located near Youngs Road in a quaint location that overlooks a farm with horses. From what it sounds like, several teachers are retired educators, and some are qualified in occupational and speech therapies.
