At Mother Nature Academy LLC, they embrace the many years of study and evidence-based research that shows programs like the forest kindergartens of Europe as a wonderful, developmentally appropriate way to begin learning through play. They also recognize the need of American parents to find a preschool that will produce children who are “kindergarten ready.”
Mother Nature Academy is the first early childhood education facility in North Carolina that has married the two approaches.
Their experiences include a ¼-mile nature trail and 6.5 acres of natural habitat, as well as trained early childhood educators who will work with your child’s interests to help them learn what may be required by traditional kindergartens.

Following Maria Montessori’s common sense philosophy, they have chosen not to divide classes by age group. Montessori espoused the idea that teaching children in age “ranges” was more beneficial to her students. Mother Nature Academy will provide this same structure for students simply by offering mixed-age classes.
Cost:
2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) — $295/month
3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) — $375/month
5 days per week (Monday through Friday) — $475/month
Registration:
There is an annual registration fee of $100 (this is non-refundable). The slots we have available for each schedule are limited and are first come, first served based on when they receive the $100 registration fee.
